Spotted on STOMP today:

SBS bus goes up in flames on CTE and causes traffic jam

An SBS bus caught fire this morning (Jul 9), causing a traffic jam along the CTE, reported STOMPers.

According to the STOMPers, the traffic jam stretched up till Yio Chu Kang Road.

STOMPer Foong Wai sent in this photo and wrote:

“A bus was on fire along CTE at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 exit, at around 6.50am.”

Foong Wai added over a phone conversation with STOMP:

“I am not sure if there is any passengers onboard, I only saw SCDF fire fighters at the scene as I was driving by. There was a massive jam all the way up to Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.”

I hope that no one was injured at the scene, the fire looked super awful..and wonder what happened?
