Qoo10 x mitsueki // SBA 2013 – Qoo10 Loot 2 (Beauty)

So as mentioned HERE, one by one, all my loots from Qoo10 are on my way to me since last week(: One of my loots includes a beauty product where I managed to snag a great deal (yay for early bird discount!) on the following item from a Qoo10 seller: sophoholic

From sophoholic on Qoo10, I bought a DIY magic hair curlers as seen from above:
– Circle Ringlet
Total Damage: S$6.70

And if you were wondering why I bought such a random beauty product, well it’s because I’ve always wanted to help my model, Sharon curl her hair during our GlamPuss photoshoot. BUT, I didn’t dare to get a curling iron and help her to do it because of this:

Then, while I was browsing through the numerous Beauty products that Qoo10 had to offer, I spotted this DIY magic hair curlers which claimed that it could create the perfect curls without fuss, time, and most importantly, WITHOUT heat, so I don’t have to be worried about burning Sharon’s hair XD

As you can tell, I was TOTALLY SOLD. Oh and by the way, I opted for the CIRCLE RINGLETS instead of the SPIRAL CURLS (: Delivery from the Qoo10 seller was very efficient and I received my DIY Magic Rollers within a couple of days after ordering them.

So what you’ll receive will be 18 mix size circle curlers and 1 magic leverag stick as pictured below:

And now most importantly, ONTO testing the DIY magic hair rollers to see if they would actually really work! So as you can see in the next photo, my hair’s really messy/tangled, so here I am trying my darnest to strengthen my hair and remove the tangles.

And I also tied up my hair because well, I have too much and I’m a little lazy to try out all the hair rollers XD

And yep, after combing and untangling, here’s my 2 locks of ‘straightened’ hair below:

And here’s what I did:

I’m pretty sure I did it wrongly somewhere along the way because I was still figuring out how to use the rollers, but guess what?

Volia! A curl appeared!

Well, somewhat of a curl as seen from the before / after photo:

LOL. Better than nothing right?

For now, I think I’ll need to experiment a few times with this beauty tool first before I get proficient enough – and I also think that it’s due the time factor because I only rolled it for like, 10 minutes or less? But I have to say it does work if you would love to get wavy hair, HOWEVER it won’t stay long so you’ll definitely need a hairspray for it!

Overall, really satisfied with my beauty loot from Qoo10 at an awesome price of S$6.70 (including delivery) and I can’t wait to use it on Sharon!(:
