Woman arrested in connection with murder of boy, 9: He’s believed to be her son
A boy, 9, was found unconscious at the foot of a block at West Coast Road yesterday evening. He later died in hospital. A woman, 31, has been arrested in connection with his murder.
The Straits Times reported in an update that the dead boy is believed to be the woman’s son. According to The Straits Times, Police said in a statement earlier that they received a call for assistance at 6.08pm. Upon arrival, police found the 9-year-old boy unconscious at the foot of said block.
He was conveyed to National University Hospital where he subsequently succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead 7.03pm. The woman has been arrested and will be charged in Court on June 3 for Murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224, which carries the death penalty.

I first heard it on the news actually and I was really shocked especially upon finding out the alleged murderer is his own mother. Worst still, he was 9 at the time of death, and that’s even more shocking because imagine she has been raising her son for 9 years and then, she murders him..super heartless!
Regardless..how can she do this to her own son?!
