China dad throws toddler on ground during angry phone call with wife

The CCTV Video that caught it:

A man got so enraged during an argument with his wife — whom he had stabbed only one day ago — that he threw his one year old son onto the ground, leaving the toddler critically injured with a fractured skull. Chen, 31, had stabbed his wife with a knife on May 11 during a quarrel over babysitting arrangements, causing her to be hospitalised. The following day (May 12), he went to visit her at Renji Hospital in the Pudong New Area at about 11pm.

CCTV footage showed him talking on his phone while carrying the boy on his shoulder. He then threw his son hard onto the floor after suddenly losing control.According to a China Daily report, the boy suffered a fractured skull and cerebral haemorrhage. He was sent to the Shanghai Children’s Medical Center for treatment where his condition has stabilised.

Chen, who works as a carpenter and has two other daughters, has been detained by the police.

I was super horrified when I saw the CCTV footage of the father throwing his own son as if he was a bag of potatoes. Is this ANY way for a father to behave with his own son?

You know, I’m just shocked that he’s still walking around scot free when he first he stabbed his wife in a fit of anger, and now he just almost killed his own son. Even if he has anger management or psychological issues, I think that the China authorities should definitely put him behind bars or lock up for the safety of his family and everyone else.
