Updated!
According to Shazz Sloshed’s Facebook, apparently there seems to be another cat abuse case at Tanglin Halt:
Second one had a chunk of very strong glue on her behind, including both hind legs. vet verifies that its not the typical rat trap glue, and no one has any idea what kind. it is very sticky, gooey, maybe yellowish in color. hard to tell with alot of stuff glued on her. our guesses include bird trap glue and also the possibility that someone could have smeared it on her as the glue affected parts were too obvious. none of her other body parts/fur had traces of the glue.
it is now currently with a caregiver/feeder who will be trying to clean the glue out.

What is with the sudden spike of SERIOUS animal abuse cases recently in Singapore? In the recent months, I have submitted the following stories to STOMP regarding the following animal abuse cases:
- 2 Kittens found DISMEMBERED in Chong Pang, Singapore (31 Dec 2012)
- G.I. Joe (Yeo) – The Dog With the Chopped Off Leg (7 April 2013)
And again today, I just stumbled upon yet another animal abuse case posted on Facebook.

According to the Facebook user, Shazz Sloshed who posted these pictures:
Cat abuse – 7th April 2013
Two community cats were brutally beaten on their heads and died. The latest photo here is one of them. One was found dead at Blk 28 few days ago and one today at Blk 45. Police only took a statement and someone from AVA contacted a caregiver. As of now, it is believed it happened in the early hours when most people are sleeping thus might not have heard the abuse.
The regular feeders/caregivers at Tanglin Halt are looking for witness or any leads on cat abuse in the same area.

So please help to spread the awareness around to help find the abuser by sharing the post HERE on Facebook. Meanwhile, let’s hope that the local authorities will look into the rise of animal abuse cases as the abusers’ actions should not be condoned here in Singapore.
Till later,
