A couple of days ago, I received an invitation to attend from Cadbury Singapore to attend The Most Marvellous Bloggers’ Party held like..today, 6th April at Nassim Hill Bakery Bistro Bar. And you know, as a big fan of chocolates, I decided to go for it since:

• Yay! I can bring a Plus One – I’m shy ><
• Like I said – it’s chocolates(:(:
• I get to see their 3 marvelous blogger ambassadors – Maureen Ow (misstamchiak), Brad Lau (Ladyironchef) and Beatrice Tan!

Well, both of us reached there a little late because of the heavy rain today, but to our surprise, there weren’t alot of people there yet other than a handful as well as the 3 blogger ambassadors. Then we realized, it’s because of the other bloggers took the Cadbury bus which came a little late!

So with nothing left to do, I decided to just snap a couple of photos before the others arrived. Heh.

*Totally regretted not bringing my new DSLR there to try out ><

And the star of the day will definitely be the Cadbury Marvellous Creations – Jelly Crunchy Bits, Jelly Popping Candy Beanies & Peanut Toffee Cookie!

Other than that, there were a couple of other things for us to do at the event while waiting.

1. Photo booth from Hello Stranger!

2. Blind Tasting Booth

Crystal really wanted one of the cute limited edition Cadbury 2GB thumbdrives, so she decided to try to win the blind test game!

Well the purpose of the game if you don’t know, is to try the 3 chocolates blindfolded and then after that try to guess which are the 3 chocolates from the 9 Cadbury chocolates as seen below!

Unfortunately..we won nothing 🙁 Got 2 guesses right outta 3! 🙁

Well then the other bloggers finally arrived as you can see. I spotted a number of familiar faces as I do read their blogs occasionally, such as Maybelline Sim and Keline (Urbandoll)! So, I was like pretty awed to be invited to this event as well, I’m definitely not like one of them. They’re like, pretty famous in the blogosphere, pretty, slim and outgoing – and in my case I’m uhhh..not so. Eh and I think I was definitely one of the plumper bloggers there – hehe.

The event started off with an ice breaker of some sorts? Bingo style! So we had to go around the place looking for other bloggers that matched what was written on the bingo card and had them to sign! And guess whose’s signature both of us went to get?

After that, we were introduced to the purpose of the party – of course introducing the 3 Cadbury Marvellous Creations – Jelly Crunchy Bits, Jelly Popping Candy Beanies & Peanut Toffee Cookie!

And then the 3 Marvelous Ambassadors were invited up to give a talk about the particular flavors they were representing!(: Can you guess which?

• Jelly Crunchy Bits – Brad Lau (Ladyironchef)
• Jelly Popping Candy Beanies – Beatrice Tan
• Peanut Toffee Cookie – Maureen Ow (misstamchiak)

Then they had to break their own Cadbury Piñatas – it was pretty funny to watch because it was really hard to break them! Oh and because I was too short to see, Crystal assisted to take these photos for me. Lol

Then apparently there were a couple of Night Safari tickets to win – so you have to find the ticket on the Cadbury chocolates. Here, you can see the mad scramble as the bloggers tried to find them.

Didn’t join in because..I spotted A PHOTO OPPORTUNITY(:

SUPER HAPPY TO GET these photos with one of favourite food bloggers (other than Daniel) – Brad (Ladyironchef) and the gorgeous Beatrice Tan!

I know I look fat (because I am!) to them but who cares! Hehe!

After that, they gave away a couple of Cadbury Chocolate Hampers to a few winners for the Best Dressed and Best Instagram Photo if I remember right. Then, Huron Low, the marvelous magician did some magic tricks and he was pretty good! Crystal was impressed!(:

And there after, the event was coming to an end, and Crystal and I departed after taking a few lovely Cadbury Marvellous Creations.
