I noticed several of my friends staying at Tampines area complaining about the massive jam this morning at about 8~8.30am on Facebook. I’m not too sure if this is the cause of the jam, but I would think so.

There was an accident along the inter junction of Hougang Avenue 7 and Tampines Road that has caused a 4 vehicle pile up. Two container trucks met with a head on collusion as seen in the picture and one double decker bus was seen hanging head first off the ledge of a storm drain. A van was also hit at it’s side.

I guess more details will be revealed soon as there is no official news report out yet at the moment.
But most importantly, I hope no one was seriously injured in this accident. It looks and sounds pretty bad.
