This morning, a lecturer came to return exam scripts to me at my office. Then he told me a piece of news that shocked me.
One of his students just passed away 2 days ago. She was only 27, a hardworking student he said. She died of a sudden heart attack that came out of the blue.
I may not have known her, but her sudden demise saddened me because it serves to remind me how fragile life is.
And more importantly, it also reminds me of how I haven’t lived my life to the fullest.
So it made me make up my mind, I’m going to do what I’ve been dreaming of for quite awhile – to start selling apparels as well. It was my dream to open an apparel blogshop as mentioned before here: http://tinyurl.com/mitsuekis-dream
But I never really went to chase/follow that dream till recently late last year when I decided to just go DO it. I decided started off small first, with accessories instead as storage was the main issue. And hence, GlamPuss at (http://www.shopglampuss.com) was born.
After dabbling in the accessories/jewellery for a couple of months now, I feel that GlamPuss is ready to slowly branch into apparels even though we are still a relatively young start up. But of course, the problem is finding a supplier.
So you know what? I just asked one of my bestie, Crystal if she would like to go to Bangkok with me to do some crazy shopping, find a supplier and basically, just have a truckload of fun.
And she said yes!
Another problem now is my mom, but honestly, I’m just going to go. And this will fulfill one of my New Year 2013 resolutions as well – to go overseas. ANYWHERE as seen here: http://tinyurl.com/2013-new-year-resolutions
Well, life is indeed unpredictable and fragile.
You never know if you will die the next day or something along that line. And the thing is – I don’t wish to die with regrets and unfulfilled wishes and dreams. I don’t want to be a bitter soul wandering the ends of the world bemoaning my fate.
So I’m going to strive to LIVE my life like there is no tomorrow, with no regrets and the way I want it to be.
Starting off with this trip Bangkok! That’s 1 wish down already(:
Time to start looking for
CHEAP affordable airfare and places to stay near shopping places! Oh and if you have any recommendations – feel free to let me know!
Lastly, just to share this with y’all:
Life is a gift. Never take it for granted.
