Let’s start off your Wednesday morning with this video of McFly’s Tom Fletcher singing his way through his wedding speech that’s currently trending right now. And gosh, I started tearing up while watching.
Yeah..it was UBER creative , ULTRA cute and SUPER romantic at how he managed to do some sort of a mashup of all the McFly’s hit songs to make this speech/song!

So the video starts off with Tom Fletcher saying: “I absolutely hate public speaking. Me and public speaking we just do not get along at all.”Mainly because I don’t have any idea about how to write a good speech“, before starting to sing his speech to his new wife and their guests.
He kick started the song off with the McFly song – Obviously, singing:
“Recently I’ve been, having a wedding, I’ve married this girl, who’s out of this world, believe me.”
Then he sings McFly’s Sorry’s Not Good Enough for Mario Falcone, Giovanna’s (bride) brother – for making the awesome suits, as well as the ushers and bridesmaids at the wedding.
After that, it’s a song to his McFly bandmates and his best friends, Harry Judd, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones which was pretty hilarious!
Thanks to my best men, you are the best friends, that I know I will ever have, you’re more like brothers, sometimes lovers but we won’t tell them about that
Thank you Danny, for making me happy, by thinking eggs are vegetables, cos things like that remind me how lost I would be without you all.
Then he turned to his parents singing – I’d be nothing without you, so I hope I’ve made you proud, you’ve given me an amazing life, and the groom never lies to the tune of The Heart Never Lies.
Yeah, this part made me smile(:
Lastly, here comes the sweetest part. He started singing the McFly song – It’s All About You to his new wife.

And in a surprise turn of events – he was joined by Sylvia Young Theatre School Choir who sang the chorus with him! AHHHH...it was just so cute and sweet!

Goodness, I guess he should be feeling REALLY dry after singing for almost 15 minutes! And I really think it was a really cute and creative idea for him to come up with that – it’s so different from the conventional wedding speech. Definitely a memory for the bride to remember for life.
You can really see the effort he put into putting together the arrangements singing the different songs for his wife, her parents, his parents in law, his McFly’s bandmates, bridesmaids, grooms and all the guests!
And my favorite song of them all will be It’s All About You(:
Can’t stop gushing over it!
Will this be the latest trend in the future?
Well, who knows right?
Me thinks that:
1. We’re going to be seeing an increase in grooms writing and singing for their brides instead of the old conventional speech – or vice versa? If this happens, let’s just hope they can sing as well as McFly’s Tom Fletcher ;p
2. New brides are going to be telling their husbands – ‘You better be as romantic and creative as Tom Fletcher during our wedding OR ELSE!’
2. And the song – It’s All About You by McFly is going to be like..one of the most requested wedding/romance song
