Wow! 2012 just flew past me in a blur

Time sure flies really fast when you get older huh? 

Do you feel the same way too?

Anyway, just recapping some major events that have happened to me in 2012. Obviously, there were some negative ones, but honestly, who cares about that right? It’s always better to look on the brighter side of life.

1. First Trip to the United States

So first up, early in May this year, I went on my first ever overseas trip to the United States with my classmates. It was kinda like an exchange program of some sort and we studied for a semester over there. Basically, I was in Las Vegas for 3 weeks before flying to San Francisco and then Los Angeles for a week long holiday. I have to say, I had one of the best times of my life there and this too, has whetted my appetite to travel overseas with my friends and the bf of course.

2. The bf and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary together
Yes, we’ve been together since 7/7/10 and may we last another year!

3. My 2 pre-birthday Celebrations
And I had 2 fabulous days out with my girlfriends (+ guy friend) and the bf to celebrate my birthday!

4. Graduated from University and am now a full fledged working adult

Somewhere in August as I was exempted from my internship, I started looking for a full time job. Then on 3 September onwards, I started working at a company and was confirmed on 3 December after a 3 month probation period. Yay! So I am now a full fledged working adult! Just attended my first ever D&D at the company as seen HERE.

Oh and my graduation ceremony is somewhere in January.
AND OH MY GOSH, this totally reminds me, I haven’t collected my graduation gown yet!

5. Chased after my dream and opened my own blogshop/online store – GlamPuss

I’ve had a dream for quite awhile – a couple of years in fact, of opening my very own blogshop or online store. But I never did chase my dream till this year when my cousin inspired me to do so. You can read about it here in my very first blog post(:

6. Started this blog

So yeah, I started this blog initially as an marketing platform for GlamPuss on 19th November, but it later evolved to become my own personal blogging space as well.

Now that it’s a new year, of course it’s time to set some New Year resolutions right?
Generally, I don’t set them, but I wanted it to be different this year.

1. Go on another overseas trip
I don’t care where, even Genting in Malaysia sounds good to me. Basically.I.need.to.travel.overseas

2. Lose weight
I’m not exactly overweight, nor am I thin. I’m always in between hovering between S & M size (sometimes L) depending on the cut. And it’s a sucky feeling sometimes when I look into the mirror or when some people comment that I’m fat. So I’m going to try to lose weight. But it’s kinda hard to do that especially when I love to indulge in food

3. Keep up blogging for at least a year
I’m going to try really hard to work on keeping up this blog for at least a year. Really. This is because usually most of my blogs die off after awhile as I stopped having the motivation to write anymore. I have a feeling that this blog is going to be different(:

4. Enter the Singapore Blog Awards 2013 (if any)
So there’s a Singapore Blog Awards hosted every year by omy.sg, and this year, I hope to enter and hopefully, get selected as one of the finalists for one of the awards.

5. Achieve success with GlamPuss and branch out into apparels
Most importantly, I hope to achieve success with GlamPuss. So far, I guess it’s doing okay, but it’s really far away from breaking even. And I hope to do that by the end of 2013 at the very most. And hopefully, perhaps branch out into apparels as well? I love clothes and can never get enough of them, so I think bringing in apparels is a good thing for me as well. Hehe
