Last week I mentioned that I had a lunch appointment with my dear partner and good friend, Rachel and I promised that I would do a blog post as seen here. Sorry for the overdue post, but here it is(:
So it was Rachel’s birthday in November (not disclosing ;p) but we didn’t have the opportunity to meet up during that period. As she celebrated my 18th birthday (HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA) with me and several of my other friends, in August I wanted to give her something special on her birthday. Moreover, she’s been really supportive of my shop since Day 1 especially since she’s my partner in crime.
Hence, I popped by the local craft store to source for a pretty charm to make her a simple necklace as a gift. My initial plan was to make a bracelet, but I didn’t want it to be so obvious and ask her, “eh, what’s your wrist size leh?”. But then again, I did manage to get her address from her without her suspicion. Hmmm..
Anyway, let’s have the pictures do the talking shall we?

For this picture, as you can see. I wanted to use this ultra cute gold plated bear charm, BUT, the jumpring that I had was WAY too big and it couldn’t be hooked onto the necklace chain as it was too fine 🙁

I was an idiot. I happily attached the jump ring to the chain and I forgot to attach it to the closure or whatever it’s called. Genius. =.=

My finished product – I love it! It’s so cute, whimsical, sweet, adorable and arghhh..just cute(:

Lol, my scrawl is barely legible I know, but the focus is on the necklace! X)

Totally forgot to take them off when I went to the bathroom at work. So please ignore it. Hurhur

And have no idea why some of my pictures are smaller than the others :O

For lunch, we headed for Thai food around my workplace at Aroy Dee Thai Food. Has great and cheap lunch sets for $5.50 including a choice of drink.

Yep, the main purpose of this meeting was actually for her to pass me the clip on earrings that my friend bought from her. The friend didn’t want it delivered by mail, so I collected it for her instead.

Let’s end off this blog post with her necklace. Oh, I’m gonna make another for myself. Hee~
If you’re interested in purchasing it, drop me a mail to request and I might make it available for the next upcoming handcrafted collection(:
Till Later,
