If you noticed, most of my blog posts so far are pretty much blatant advertisement for GlamPuss. So I decided to share a little more on my personal life with you guys. Well, for one, I’ve been under the weather for the entire week! It started with a really bad sore throat on Sunday night, and you know if you know that you are developing one, it’s time to drink either water or cooling stuff such as herbal tea (yucks!) and chrysanthemum and stuff like that. But at that time, we ran out of bottled water and my mom doesn’t really boil water anyway so I was so desperate that I drank straight from the tap. Luckily Singapore’s tap water is safe to drink, just that imo, it has a really weird taste.
*scrunches face*
After the sore throat, I developed a really bad running nose and well, basically flu. My colleagues at work were totally afraid I would infect them and asked me to go see a doctor and get a medical certificate or something. Well, I would love to..but I’m currently on the last month of my probation period so it would be considered a no-pay leave. Moreover, a couple of weeks ago, I had no choice but to take a day off due to my awful eye which teared the entire day. RAWR. Anyway, I’m much better now, and I went to see a doctor yesterday to get some medicine – of which I didn’t use any. LOL, well, I could claim $50 medical fees so it was all good. Plus the doctor was GOOD! Like really!
You know why? Because the doctor used this contraception.

Generally when I go to the doctor, they tend to just give me flu medications and stuff. This doctor gave those as well, but he also used this thingy – some phglem vaccum on me. If I remember right, it’s this.
1. He sprays the inside of my nose with some anesthesia to numb it.
2. Then he proceeds to poke this super freaking long straw up my nose which I have to say, is pretty disgusting.
I was like looking at him dubiously when he said he was poke it up my nose.
3. Well, then the machine started sucking out the mucus and crap from my nose.
He commented that my nose was soooo congested. Well like duh, I’ve had a leaking / blocked nose for the past few days!
But this thingy was AMAZING. I COULD BREATH for the 1st time using my nose after he cleared it. Like WOW.
Too bad it only lasted for a couple of hours.
Then my nose just started dripping again. Well he did mention it was a temporary solution and technically it was meant for blocked nose, mine was a leaking nose with occasional block nose – not sure if that makes sense.
But anyway, my total medical bills including that suction thingy and my pills cost $53 bucks.
