So it’s almost been a week since I launched my Debut Collection 1: Motley, this Saturday will mark the official week actually.

Unfortunately, I have to say that I’m rather disappointed with the results so far. Again, I’ll be honest and truthfully say that I haven’t had any sales. So naturally I’m disappointed. Imagine spending so much effort to do mass marketing, sourcing of suppliers and everything, but it doesn’t bear fruit? Yes, I’m whining so let me be – I gotta rant for a bit! ROAR!

This just makes me wonder though, what are the reasons that people are not purchasing from me?

1. Is it that I am not getting enough exposure for GlamPuss?

2. Do my items look awful?

3. Is the price too high?

4. Does it take too long to load my items on the webpage?

What is it?

But then again, I must remember that GlamPuss is the new kid on the block so I have to be patient in order to get results. Which will come one day sooner or later – I hope! My friends and bf are telling me not to think about this factor and focus on other stuff instead such as my new collection, etc.  I must learn to be patient!

But no worries, I’m just going to keep going and doing what needs to be done – MORE marketing for MORE exposure! In fact, I’m going to try get a local blogger to help me some advertisement. Still thinking, because it’s not easy to be on a budget and yet find a blogger that fits my GlamPuss theme.

Hehe, but actually I already have a particular blogger in mind. Have read her blog posts and seen her sample shop advertorials which I think is pretty decent considering that there is a whole write-up of dedicated to the shop. Yes, I shall contact her very soon. On the other hand though, I don’t know if this method actually works, because right now, almost every blogger does advertorials for shops, products and such. Well, we’ll see the results sooner or later right?

Oh and did I mention? I’ll be releasing collection 2 next Tuesday. It will finally feature some of my handcrafted items and Rachel’s Love for Fabric clip on earrings. Here’s a preview 😉

Lastly to end off. As mentioned earlier in my post yesterday, I announced the winners of GlamPuss’s giveway #1 right? Well, so far only 2 of the winners replied me – of which 1 of them has already been packaged and sent today. Will be packing the 2nd one today because I only saw her reply really late at night. As my bf handles the logistics part of GlamPuss, so he had the first taste of packaging our ever first parcel. We were chatting via webcam and he was showing me how he did it. Yep

1. Wash earrings for hygiene purposes

2. Stamp our specially manufactured stamps onto the envelopes

3. Bubble wrap it

4. Bf will go to the post office for the stamp 

Tadaaa! Done

Hope that the winners will like it. Oh and if the last winner doesn’t reply within 48 hours, I’m going to have to repick 1.
